Stage 1 ECU Tuning Upgrade:
Bring new life to your 2003-2011 Saab 9-3 2.0 with our Stage 1 ECU tune. Our stage 1 ECU Tuning Upgrade has been professionally tested and run on our personal vehicles for a combined 100,000 miles and counting. This tune has no hardware enhancement requirements however we do recommend you run a NGK spark plug with a colder heat range (7) compared to the stock (6) heat range plug for better performance and longevity. This ECU upgrade improves acceleration through increased boost pressure and enhanced fuel mapping. When driven conservatively you may even notice 1-2 MPG better fuel economy hence overtime this upgrade can pay for itself*.

The Process: After you purchase this tuning service you will receive an email with our shipping address. You must send us your ECU out of your vehicle in order to have the tune applied to it. You are responsible for the shipping cost and method of shipment used. Standard Return shipping for your ECU, after it is tuned, is included in your purchase price and typically takes 2-3 days via USPS Priority Mail. If you would like faster return shipping we offer next day shipping an additional cost.

If you are purchasing this service in conjunction with our ECU cloning repair service and replacement unit from us we have a discounted option for you. Please choose the $99.99 add on option for the tuning package. Otherwise the price for this service is $149.99 without our cloning repair service.

*Greater fuel economy has been recorded in our testing in optimal conditions when driven conservatively on the highway and is therefore not guaranteed nor promised. Other factors such as replacing the spark plugs, ignition coils, O2 sensors, etc. can all affect overall fuel economy both before and after a tuned ECU.
